Third Party Payments

Baker College provides a secure online environment for students to make a payment using a third party credit card, such as MI Works or an employer credit card. Students paying all, or a portion, of their tuition using an outside funding source must pay those funds separately from a regular tuition payment in order to ensure the payment is accurately credited as a third party payment.

Students Making a Third Party Payment

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • This Online Payment Method is for Business Credit Card Payments ONLY (ex: MI Works or Employer Cards)
  • Verify the Balance Due PRIOR to Processing the Payment. You Can Get the Balance Information by Clicking the Request Assistance Button at the Bottom of this Article to Submit a Ticket. 

You can make a third party payment toward your student account balance in the following way:

Visit: Baker College Miscellaneous Fees eMarket:

Choose the AR Miscellaneous Category

  • Enter the Total Payment Amount
  • Enter the Student ID
  • Click "Add to Basket"
  • Click "Checkout"
  • Complete the Purchaser (Agency) Information 
  • Click "Continue Checkout"
  • Select "Credit Card" (also used for debit card purchases)
  • Click "Continue Checkout"
  • Enter the Card Number and Expiration Month and Year
  • Update the Cardholder Name (if different from the agency name)
  • Update the Address (if card is billed to a different address than the agency)
  • Enter the Card ID Code (3 or 4 digit code on the card)
  • Click "Continue Checkout"
  • Click the Box to Acknowledge the Terms and Conditions
  • Click "Continue Checkout"
  • Review the Information for Accuracy
  • Click "Submit Payment"

Upon successful completion of the payment a receipt will be emailed to the email provided during the payment transaction.

Continue to submit a ticket each semester you are approved for third party funding so that an accurate balance amount can be provided to you prior to the processing of your payment. 

Agencies Making a Third Party Payment

Baker College provides a secure online environment for our business partners/agencies to make a payment for student charges covered with third party funds, using a credit or debit card.

You can make a third party payment for student charges in the following way:

Visit: Baker College Miscellaneous Fees eMarket:

Choose the AR Miscellaneous Category

  • Enter the Total Payment Amount
  • Enter the Student ID where the Funds are to be Applied
    • If Paying for a Group of Students, Enter the Student ID 15553899
  • Click "Add to Basket"
  • Click "Checkout"
  • Complete the Purchaser (Agency) Information 
    • Please Include the Invoice Number and/or the Student ID Number Related to the Payment (this ensures the payment can be posted to the proper account/s)
  • Click "Continue Checkout"
  • Select "Credit Card" (also used for debit card purchases)
  • Click "Continue Checkout"
  • Enter the Card Number and Expiration Month and Year
  • Update the Cardholder Name (if different from the agency name)
  • Update the Address (if card is billed to a different address than the agency)
  • Enter the Card ID Code (3 or 4 digit code on the card)
  • Click "Continue Checkout"
  • Click the Box to Acknowledge the Terms and Conditions
  • Click "Continue Checkout"
  • Review the Information for Accuracy
  • Click "Submit Payment"
