Information regarding the process at Baker College for requesting the return of excess loan funds back to a lender.

Body

If you have extra loan money left over after your school costs are paid, Baker College can send some or all of those funds back to your lender to help reduce your loan balance and future debt.
 
Students and parents (for Parent PLUS Loans) can request to return all or part of their excess loan funds for one or more semesters during the academic year. If you have a private student loan, you can also ask for any extra loan funds to be returned to your lender.
 
To return excess loan funds:
 
Complete the Loan Return Request Form
 
Returning unused loan funds can help lower the amount you owe after graduation.
