Student accounts for individuals with a conferred degree will automatically transition to alumni status 18 months after the end date of their final semester of attended classes. As this deadline approaches, users will be notified via their Baker College email address. This transition changes the services available to the user.
Alumni status is designed to maintain access to Alumni services on My Baker and Baker email only. Upon transitioning, access to Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure for Education, and most Google Workspace applications will be discontinued. This includes the loss of access to all data stored in Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Google Photos, Google Sites, YouTube (including channels, content, and subscriptions), and OneDrive.
Alumni must download any personal files they wish to keep from Google Drive, Google Photos, and OneDrive before their account transitions. After the transition, this data will become inaccessible. Additionally, any alumni account that is deemed inactive for a period of one (1) year will be deactivated.
