Military Deployment

Baker College recognizes the commitment our student service members make to the armed forces, and we understand that deployment may occur while you are enrolled in courses. Our goal is to ensure that, if deployment happens during a semester, the impact on your academic progress and financial obligations is minimized.

In order to support a smooth transition, Baker College must be notified of deployment details as early as possible. Early notification allows us to assist you with academic planning, financial aid and benefit considerations, as well as any adjustments needed to your student billing account. 

If you become aware of a deployment during a semester in which you are enrolled, you are required to contact your academic advisor promptly to determine the next steps for your academic plan. You must also email vet2vet@baker.edu with their deployment information so we can review the impact on your financial aid, student billing account balance, and military education benefits.

Timely communication ensures we can provide the appropriate support and help you maintain your academic standing and financial readiness.
