Conference Room Technology (RO):

The Conference Rooms in Royal Oak are equipped with technology that will allow you to present quickly and efficiently.  

Wall Control System: 
Wall plates in RO Conference rooms with On, Off, PC1, PC2, Volume up, Volume down, and volume Mute buttons.

This Wall Control Control System will allow you to:

  • Turn ON  and OFF  the Room Display.
  • Switch between Two HDMI Sources and Adjust Conference Room Speaker
  • Volume as well as a Room MUTE feature.

Clickshare Wireless Transmitters:

Two Clickshare wireless transmitters with a button and a USB-C connection.

These USB-C (Push Button) Wireless Transmitters will allow you to Wirelessly Display Presentations to the Room Display as well as connect you to the conference room webcam and speaker

Pan/Tilt and Zoom Conferencing Camera:
The room camera above the displays in the RO conference rooms. Tilt/Pan cameras.

This Camera device is a pan and zoom capable room camera that will show up as a video source on your computer when presenting with Clickshare. 

Conference Room speaker, microphone, and telephone.
The phones on the tables in RO conference rooms. They are speakers, microphones for the display, and regular telephones for the room.

This device includes enhanced conference room style audio, and can be used to dial any normal phone call. When used with Clickshare, it will become the speakers, and the Microphone for the room.
Display setup using the wireless transmitters:

Take a Button and Insert the Button into a USB-C port on your laptop.

The LEDs of the Button will start to flash and a new USB like drive will appear in your operating system.
Browse to and double-click the ClickShare drive on your laptop. (Windows & Mac Compatible)

(Windows)

Double-click the ClickShare application as shown above.
The ClickShare client software starts and its icon appears in the system tray on a Windows PC..

Mac OS:

When the system is ready for use, the icon appears in the systray icon.
A message that shows on MAC that says Ready to share to Clickshare-Room_405

To share your screen on the display, Press the Clickshare Button.

The LEDs of the Button become red and your screen appears on the display. 
To stop sharing your screen on the display, press the Clickshare Button again.

Connecting your laptop to the Conference Room speaker and camera:

The room camera above the displays in the RO conference rooms. Tilt/Pan cameras. The phones on the tables in RO conference rooms. They are speakers, microphones for the display, and regular telephones for the room.

First open the Zoom application as shown below. Click the gear from the top right.

Click Video from the left side and choose the Room Camera option.

Click Audio from the left side and choose both Speaker and Microphone options.

Choose the Echo Canceling SpeakerPhone for the Speaker option.
Choose Echo Cancelling SpeakerPhone for the Microphone option.
