St. Francis 2024-2025 Tuition and Fees

Tuition Charges

St. Francis School of Law tuition is charged as a flat rate for the term. The rate for the term does not vary based on the number of courses registered, the session start and ends dates within the term, or session lengths within the term. Below are the 2024-2025 tuition rates, beginning with the Fall 2024 term and extending through the Summer 2025 term.

  • The technology fee is assessed to all students to maintain and enhance student-facing technology. 
  • Refundable for students who drop all courses during the drop/add period

Active-Duty Service Members

St. Francis School of Law offers special tuition rates for active-duty service members and their spouses.

To ensure that all active-duty service members are charged the military tuition rate a copy of a current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) that lists the Estimated Time of Separation (ETS) is required. The LES can be submitted by email to vet2vet@baker.edu and should be submitted anytime there is a change to a separation date. Students may redact sensitive financial information from the LES prior to submitting. If you are submitting an LES as a spouse of a service member please ensure that you note your name and student number on the LES so your account is correctly identified for the military tuition rate.

Textbooks

Tuition and fees do not include the cost of books and study materials, which are the responsibility of the student. The best effort estimate of the costs of books and study materials is $800 in the first year, $1,400 in the second, third and fourth years. The best estimate cost of textbooks for four years of study is $5,000. The estimates are based on using new hardcover books when available. In many cases, casebooks can be rented and/or digital versions are available at lesser expense.
