Nick here from Baker College Information Technology. In this video we're going to learn how to set up passwordless signin with our Microsoft authenticator app. Let's get started. On our phone, we need to select the baker.edu entry and choose "Set up phone sign-in, Sign in without a password." This notification screen lets us know that the device will have to be registered and also that a screen lock must be set on the phone, whether that be a pin, password, a fingerprint, or a patter. I'm going to click continue. Now I'll be prompted to verify my account by signing in and then performing a number match. Now is when it prompts me to register my device. The device registration is complete, so we can click finish. The next time you go to sign into to your account, you'll notice on the password screen there is now a "Use an app instead" option. Click that and you'll be prompted for number matching. You're now able to sign into your Baker account without a password. Note: Microsoft may still prompt for a password in some instances. Thank you for joining me! Be sure to check out services.baker.edu for helpful knowledge base articles and our Cyber Security Info page at my.baker.edu Have a great day!
