Add a Parent or Guardian to Receive Emergency Notifications

Students can add a parent or guardian's contact information to their Rave Alert account so family members can receive important emergency alerts issued by the college. These notifications may include campus emergencies, severe weather alerts, safety advisories, and other urgent communications.

How to log into the Rave Portal  

Log into RaveAlert with your Baker SSO credentials at: https://www.getrave.com/login/baker

1.  Type “Baker College” into the text box, select Baker College, and click “CONTINUE”.

2.  Enter your Baker College UserID and Password into the Appropriate fields.  Then click the Login button.

3.  The First time you login to the Rave Alert System you will see the following Terms of Use.  Review the terms and check the box next to I have read and agree to the Rave Terms of Use.  Click on Submit.

4.  To add or update Mobile Phones or Additional email addresses, simply click on the +Add button.

Adding a Mobile Contact

Mobile Contacts: 

1.  Click on the +Add button to add or modify existing mobile contact entries. 

You can create multiple cell phone number entries. Enter in the new Mobile Contacts in the box shown and click Continue.

2.  Click the drop-down box to Confirm your carrier and click on Continue.

3.  You will receive a confirmation showing the phone was successfully added.

4.  Click DONE to return to the main menu.

Adding an Email Contact

Email: 

1.  Click on the +Add button to add or modify email addresses to be notified. Click SAVE.

2.  You will be returned to the Main Menu shown below with the new entries added to your college email.

3.  Perform an email communication test by clicking on the TEST button - this will verify that you can receive the email test alert message. The test message will come from "no-reply@getrave.com" and look like the message below.

If you do not receive the test email message, check your spam filter or junk mail box to confirm that the email was not blocked.

4.  Click on Log Out when you are finished updating your account. At any time, you can access the Rave Alert System using the URL https://www.getrave.com/login/baker and update your mobile contact or preferred email information.
