Accessing HiveConnect
You can access HiveConnect in two ways, the Navigate360 Student mobile app or via the desktop application. Your first time logging into HiveConnect (via the mobile app or the desktop application) you will be presented with a survey. Completing the survey allows Baker College to get to know you and offer personalized services and messaging.
Desktop Application
Starting on the MyBaker home page, click the HiveConnect for Students link at the top.
If you have completed the survey you will be presented with the home page.
Mobile App
The Navigate360 Student app is available in the Apple App Store and on Google Play. Look for this logo:
Once you download the app, you will enter Baker College in the search field, then click on Baker College.
You will use your Baker College login credentials
You will be presented with the home page (shown here in two screen shots). The home page in the mobile app has the same announcements and the same menu items as the desktop application.
HiveConnect Features
Appointments
Making an appointment with an advisor, faculty or other staff is simple. From the home page, click on the appointments icon. On the appointments page, click on the Schedule an Appointment button.
On the scheduling page you will have the option to select the type of appointment, service and date for the appointment. You can also opt to view drop-in times available.
If you select an advising appointment, you will see your assigned academic advisor's availability. Clicking on one of the available appointment times will begin the scheduling process. You will need to review the appointment details, select how you would like to meet (in-person, telephone or video), and you have the option to add a message to your advisor. You can choose whether or not you will receive reminders.
Scheduling an appointment with a faculty member is basically the same process, however, you will have to select the faculty member from a list of faculty at your campus location.
Once you finalize and schedule the appointment you will receive a confirmation email. The faculty or staff member will also receive an email and the appointment will automatically be added to your calendar and the faculty or staff member's calendar.
